Welcome to Collingwood College! As the MCR sits alongside the JCR, you can have access to the benefits below, as well as exclusive postgraduate opportunities and events. 

Benefits of MCR Membership: 

• Formals & Balls: Attend fun events at reduced costs and exclusive access, including formals and balls that bring our community together. 

• Clubs & Sports: Participate in various clubs, sports teams, and societies. MCR membership is essential for access. 

• Facilities: Enjoy the "Wood N Spoon" toastie, coffee, and snack shop, plus recreation areas with pool tables, games consoles, and more. 

• Leadership & Jobs: Join committees, run for positions in both the JCR and MCR, or work in the Wood N Spoon or tech team, gaining valuable experience. 

• Welfare & Support: Access essential products and welfare events, especially during stressful times. The Collingwood Experience Fund provides financial assistance for full participation. 

Membership Fee: £45 for the length of your degree  

This one-off fee supports the MCR’s operations, ensuring continued access to top-notch facilities and events.
