Castle MCR Masquerade Royale Ball - Saturday 6 June 2026

Castle MCR presents the Castle MCR Ball 2026 – Masquerade Royale, taking place at Durham Castle on Saturday 6 June 2026.

Step into a night where Casino Royale meets Masquerade. Durham Castle will be transformed for an evening of celebration, entertainment, and late-night festivities.

The evening will begin with a drinks reception before the Castle comes alive with live entertainment throughout the night, including performances from Durham student bands through to a live tribute act.

Across the venue there will be a wide range of activities including blackjack and roulette casino tables, mini golf, a rodeo bull, and more, creating a lively atmosphere across multiple rooms and spaces within the Castle.

Food and activities are all included in the ticket price, with food vendors serving throughout the evening so guests can enjoy the full experience of the night. All vendors will cater for vegan and gluten-free options, please email ballchair.castlemcr@durham.ac.uk if you have any additional dietary requirements or allergies.

Dress code:Black tie, with masks encouraged to embrace the Masquerade Royale theme.
