Trevelyan College Handover Formal Dinner 2026

We are delighted to invite SCR members and their guests to book their places for the Handover Formal on Thursday 19 March.

The College Bar will open between 18.00-18.45, with the meal beginning at 19.00 in the Dining Hall. The dress code is smart attire with gowns.

The menu for the Handover Formal is:

Starter

Roasted tomato and red pepper soup with focaccia croutons and crumbled feta (v)

Main

Pancetta-wrapped chicken with basil mash, stewed pepper tart, cavolo nero and diable sauce

Or

Butternut squash, butter bean and spring onion croquette with basil mash, stewed pepper tart, cavolo nero and diable sauce (v)

Dessert

Tarte au citron with vanilla cream and raspberry crumble (v)

If you have specific dietary requirements, please ensure that these are included on the booking form.

Please note that your booking is only confirmed once you have received the booking confirmation email, which will include your booking ID number.

Bookings and Cancellations

Places can be cancelled until bookings close atfter this time, no cancellation or refund will be possible. To cancel a place before this time, please log-in to your Ecommerce account and cancel it, and then please email trevelyan.collsec@durham.ac.uk so the payment can be refunded.
