Colleges and Common Rooms

We are delighted to invite Trevelyan College students to book their places for the Burns Night Formal Dinner on Thursday 29 January.

The College Bar will open between 18.00-18.45, with the meal beginning at 19.00 in the Dining Hall.

The menu for Burns Night Formal is:

Starter

Scotch broth with herb dumplings (v)

Main

Chicken breast stuffed with haggis, wrapped in smoked bacon, neeps and tatties, tenderstem broccoli and whisky sauce

Or

Vegetarian haggis and wild mushroom Wellington, neeps and tatties, tenderstem broccoli and gran mustard sauce (v)

Dessert

Warm treacle tart with raspberry granola and white chocolate and raspberry ice cream

If you have specific dietary requirements, please ensure that these are included on the booking form.

The dress code is smart attire with gowns.

Please note that if you are signing up as part of a group, you should include the group name on the booking form for table planning.

Bookings and Cancellations

Places can be cancelled until bookings close atfter this time, no cancellation or refund will be possible. To cancel a place before this time, please log-in to your Ecommerce account and cancel it, and then please email trevelyan.collsec@durham.ac.uk so the payment can be refunded.
