This is an original document on University headed paper which has been hand signed and stamped to support your Schengen Visa application. Please note that many Embassies will accept the University Student Status Letter available via Banner Self-Service. Please ensure you print this in colour on good quality paper.

Whilst studying in the UK you may wish to travel to Europe. If you do plan to travel to Europe you may need to apply for a visa. The Schengen visa permits its holder to pass freely through any of the Schengen Member States on a short term basis. There are 25 European States participating in the Schengen Agreement.

Applications should be made to the Embassy or Consulate (in the UK) of the country that you wish to visit. For more information please check the website of the Embassy/Embassies of the country/countries you wish to visit.

The Diploma Supplement is a document which describes your qualification in a standard format that is designed to be easily understood and straightforward to compare. The document is a generic document so is not personal to you.

A standard letter on University headed paper confirming your status as a fully registered student of the University. This can be ordered only where the standard Student Status letter available on  Ultra via Banner Self-Service is not sufficient.

Please state in the Additional Information Box why the self service document does not meet your needs.

THIS LETTER IS NOT AVAILABLE TO CURRENT STUDENTS WHO ARE NOT FULLY REGISTERED INCLUDING COMPLETING A STUDENT VISA CHECK where appropriate.

Your student status letter confirms the following details:

• Full legal name
• College
• Programme title
• Year of study
• Date of commencement of study
• Date of expected completion

It is hand stamped in red ink and signed.

Please only order when registering for the graduation/conferral ceremony and you would prefer your degree parchment to be sent using courier.
