Purchase of New Academic Gown

Gowns are an important part of the history of University College dating back to its founding in 1832.  They are worn at formal events throughout the year and at Matriculation during Induction Week. 

In line with our sustainability commitments, the MCR is also offering second hand gowns at £20. These second hand gowns have limited availability, and will be sold on a first come, first served basis. If you would like to buy one please email treasurer.castlemcr@durham.ac.uk
