Purchase of New Academic Gown
St Mary’s College is a gowned college. This means gowns are required to attend formals, matriculation and JCR meetings. Second hand gowns are available on a first come first serve basis for £25. Email st-marys.jcr@durham.ac.uk if you’d like to request a second hand gown. The JCR will buy back your gown at the end of your course for around £15-25 (prices to be set in three/four years at the end of your course).
We can also accept card payment when you arrive.
