The Freshers’ Wristband is the essential ticket to your Freshers’ Week experience at Hild Bede! The events and activities are all run by our SRC and student Freshers’ Reps – we think it’s the best way to get to know your fellow students and jump headfirst into life in Durham! What you get for your money:

- Entry into nightclubs Babylon, King Pong, and the notorious Klute, exclusive to Durham students!
- Exclusive access to the Vernon Arms, our College Bar, from Sunday 24th September to Saturday 30th September – open before the club nights and until late for our parties, not to mention for the world-famous Vern Bar Quiz!

- Chill events from board games and Mario Wii to professional dance classes and a Murder Mystery if you’re fancying a quieter night!

N.B. Nightclubs in Durham will be very busy during Freshers’ Week, and there is no guarantee of gaining entry if you are not part of the college group. There are lots of scam ‘Freshers’ tickets’ about, so it’s best to stick with college as we have contacted venues on behalf of the whole cohort!
