Event Durham

The conference, which has met regularly since 1970, brings together established scholars of fifteenth-century studies with younger colleagues at the start of their academic careers. It seeks to act as a showcase for current research, encourage discussion and explore new directions of enquiry.

The main conference venue is the Sir Thomas Allen Assembly Rooms Theatre. The wine reception will be held either at 7 Owengate (IMEMS) or in Durham Castle. The banquet dinner will be in the Great Hall of Durham Castle. The excursion is to Palace Green Library, the Exchequer Building and Durham Castle - all on Palace Green. Accommodation is at Hatfield College.
