Event Durham

The 24th Annual RAPS Meeting (RAPS 2024) will be held at the Department of Chemistry, Durham University on 4th - 6th of September 2024. Accommodation will be provided at Grey College. The annual RAPS meeting aims to bring together early-career academics (within approximately 5 years of appointment), PDRAs and industrialists. We aim for this meeting to offer opportunities to present your work, develop new networks, and provide practical early-career advice from a range of experienced speakers on subjects such as generating funding, mitigating the career-related effects of the coronavirus pandemic, becoming independent, interacting with the media and building a lab. Overall, the meeting is a great opportunity for early-career researchers to start their network of collaborators.
