Facilitation Skills for Participatory Research: A Workshop

This one-day workshop is a collaboration between the UK Participatory Research Network and Durham University’s Centre for Social Justice and Community Action.

Facilitated by experienced participatory researchers, it will provide the opportunity to focus on facilitation in participatory research - sharing experiences and experimenting with approaches. During the workshop participants will engage in three of the many possible process tools - Circle, World Café and Open Space Technology - as vehicles for experiencing and exchanging ideas about the art of facilitation in participatory research. 

Fees: People in employment from outside Durham University: £50.00; Students and people on low incomes: £25.00; Unwaged members of the community organisations: free: Members of staff of Durham University (places limited): free. 

The workshop will be held at Van Mildert College, Durham University, led by Jane Springett with Sarah Banks and Tina Cook organised by UKPRN and CSJCA.
