Chancellor-in-Conversation

calendar14:00 Wednesday, 14 January 2026 to 15:30 Wednesday, 14 January 2026

Join us for the latest in the series of Chancellor-in-Conversation events.

Our Chancellor Dr Fiona Hill will host her fourth Chancellor-in-Conversation event at the Waterside Building in Durham.

She will lead a panel of University subject experts for a discussion on a topical theme.

Dr Hill is an acclaimed foreign affairs specialist, author and former presidential advisor to George W Bush, Barack Obama and Donald Trump.

Following the panel discussion, an audience question and answer session will operate under Chatham House Rules. These state that participants are free to use information from the question and answer session, but neither the identity nor affiliation of the speakers may be revealed. We encourage open discussion and free sharing of information and will not be recording this part of the event.

This event is organised by the Advancement and Governance teams, and Event Durham.
