Abstract Submission Portal for GWCJS2026

  • We are inviting abstracts for the following presentation types:

    • Oral Presentations (15 minutes + 5 minutes Q&A): Focused research findings, in-depth practice case studies, service evaluations or policy analyses. This is suitable for well-developed projects.
    • Poster Presentations: A visual display of research, service evaluations, or ongoing projects. Posters will be presented during dedicated interactive sessions, allowing for detailed, one-on-one discussion with attendees.
      • Guideline: Recommended size A3.
    • 10-Minute Pop-Up Presentations: Fast-paced, dynamic pitches for early-stage research, innovative ideas, or calls for collaboration. This format is ideal for sharing a single, powerful finding or concept and is a great way for new researchers and practitioners to get involved.
      • Guideline: Up to 3 slides, focusing on the core problem, your key takeaway, and next steps.
    • Reflective Themed Panels (60 minutes): A group of 3-4 presenters offering diverse perspectives on a shared topic, often pre-organised by a convenor.

    Abstract Format:

    • Word Limit: Maximum 300 words (excluding title and author details).

Content: Clearly state the research question/topic, methodology (if applicable), key findings/arguments, and practical/policy implications. Please indicate your preferred presentation format(s) upon submission.

We look forward to receiving your submissions and to welcoming you to Durham.
