    Abstract Submission & Presentation Guidelines

To help us plan the programme effectively, we ask that all registrants submit their abstracts within two weeks of registration.

    Presentation Expectations

All attendees are expected to actively contribute to the networking activities on Day 1 by presenting either a Flash Talk (with up to two slides) or a Poster. These sessions provide an excellent opportunity for participants, speakers, and visiting academics to learn about the diverse expertise and interests within the group, identify potential collaborators, and inspire discussion throughout the summer school.

If you have any concerns or queries regarding this expectation, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with Karis Baker at karis.baker@york.ac.uk.

Presentations can focus on any aspect of your current research, including areas of interest, ongoing work, or preliminary results.

    • Duration: 4 minutes per speaker
    • Slides: Maximum of 2 slides
