Annual Alumni Weekend from 7th - 9th July 2023.

The weekend starts with the Principal’s drinks reception and hot buffet in the dining hall on Friday evening. If you would like to attend this please ensure you book yourself plus any guests using the add delegate button. And of course, the chance to meet up with friends in the Bailey Bar.

The weekend coincides with the Durham Miners’ Gala. So, on Saturday there is the chance go and experience the Banners and Brass bands, if you have never been before you will certainly see Durham in a new light! In the afternoon the SCR will be hosting a talk by Dr Bob Banks who is Chair of Fellows at the Society on the history of the Bailey houses. The Bailey bar will again be open on Saturday night with live music from the JCR.

On Sunday before heading home the Alumni Association will be hosting a discussion forum about its future and projects. Finally, everyone is encouraged to gather at the Market Tavern for lunch.
