Celebrate in style this Lunar New Year; join us for a night of traditional festivities at our College Lunar New Year Formal, featuring traditional Lion Dance, Live Music, and a traditional food menu inspired by our students!

This formal is for undergraduates and postgraduates, as well as livers’ in and livers’ out, and is also open to all students at Durham University.

Dress Code

As this is a Celebration formal dinner, we kindly ask that you wear traditional attire (suit/ dress) and remember to wear a hint of red for good luck.

Starter - Spring onion and sweetcorn soup (v)

Main - Honey and five spiced belly pork served with sticky rice, pak choi, Asian slaw and a hoi sin glaze

Main - Sweet and spicey tofu steak served with sticky rice, pak choi, Asian slaw and a hoi sin glaze (v)

Dessert - Warm custard tart with coconut ice cream caramelised mango
