Induction Formal for new Ustinov students.
The College warmly invite you to join us for a formal dinner on 10th October (Mount Oswald Hub).
Details for the Formal:
Location: MountOswaldHub, Durham, DH1 3FP.
Dress Code: Ustinov is not a gowned college, lounge suits and evening gowns are usually worn for College formals.
The Oswald Hub will be open from 6:30 p.m. Speeches and the formal is scheduled to start at 6:45 pm so please ensure you arrive in good time. There is no seating plan for this event, you can sit anywhere to meet lots of newfriends. The formal will end at approximately 9 pm after which Ustinov Bar will be open for us all to go to. Please note this formal is a BYOB (Bring Your Own Bottle) event, the Oswald Hub does not serve drinks so you will need to bring your own non-alcoholic/alcoholic beverage.
In addition to the above, please note that tickets are not refundable or exchangeable. We will need to see a valid email receipt from e-commerce on the door for entry.
Induction Formal Menu:
Starter:Summer vegetable soup with chive oil salt and pepper croutons
Main:Herb crusted breast of chicken with spring onion croquet, carrot and anise purée,
tender stem broccoli and tarragon jus
OR
Butternut squash, butter bean and spring onion, carrot and anise purée,
tender stem broccoli, roasted sweet potato and tarragon sauce (v)
Dessert:Baked vanilla and strawberry cheesecake with strawberry purée
