Ustinov GCR invites you to an exclusive and unique opportunity: the first-ever formal event hosted by any Durham College in the Cathedral Chapter House. The evening will begin with a welcome at the Great Doors of the Cathedral, followed by a tour and a drinks reception in the Cloisters. Afterwards, a two-course dinner will be served in the Chapter House, famously used as Professor McGonagall's classroom in the Harry Potter films. This event will take place on Thursday 18th January at 6:30pm, concluding at approximately 9pm.
Dress Code: Black Tie and Cocktail Dresses.
Tickets are first available to GCR members only. This is a more expensive formal because this is the most exclusive and unique experience in Durham. GCR member tickets have been subsidised down to £38. In the event of tickets remaining, non-GCR members and any guests can book onto the event at a later date. Please note that this is not a BYOB event, wine/other drinks can be purchased on the evening of the event at the table. Tables will be small, approximately 8 people, if you would like to be sat with anyone specific who has a ticket please state this in the box provided and we will do our best to accomodate this.
