Trevelyan College Christmas Formal Dinner 2025
We are delighted to invite Trevelyan College students to book their places for the Christmas Formal Dinner on Wednesday 3 December 2025.
The College Bar will open between 18.00-18.45, with the meal beginning at 19.00 in the Dining Hall.
The menu for Christmas Formal is:
Starter
Winter vegetable soup with truffled gnocchi (v)
Main
Carved turkey breast with chateau potatoes, thyme-roasted carrots, parsnips, brussels sprouts, pigs in blankets, stuffing balls and red wine sauce.
Or
Slow-braised carrots and chestnut mushroom wellington with chateau potatoes, thyme-roasted carrots, parsnips, brussels sprouts and red wine sauce (v)
Dessert
Christmas pudding cheesecake with orange and cinnamon granola and brandy cream.

If you have specific dietary requirements, please ensure that these are included on the booking form.
The dress code is black tie with no gowns.
Please note that if you are signing up as part of a group, you should include the group name on the booking form for table planning.

Places can be cancelled until bookings close atfter this time, no cancellation or refund will be possible. To cancel a place before this time, please log-in to your Ecommerce account and cancel it, and then please email trevelyan.collsec@durham.ac.uk so the payment can be refunded.
