Trevelyan College Burns Night Formal 2024 High Table Only

We are delighted to invite SCR members and their guests to book their places for the Burns Night Formal Dinner on Tuesday 23 January 2024.

The College Bar will open between 18.00-18.45, with the meal beginning at 19.00 in the Dining Hall. The dress code is smart attire with gowns.

The menu for the Burns Night Formal is:

Scotch broth

with herb dumplings

Chicken breast with haggis

wrapped in smoked bacon, neeps & tatties, tender stem broccoli and a whiskey, sauce

Vegetarian haggis and wild mushroom Wellington,

neeps & tatties, tender stem broccoli and a grain mustard sauce

Cranachan cheesecake

with honey cream, toasted oats and raspberry coulis

If you have specific dietary requirements, please ensure that these are included on the booking form.

Bookings and Cancellations

Places can be cancelled until bookings close atfter this time, no cancellation or refund will be possible. To cancel a place before this time, please log-in to your Ecommerce account and cancel it, and then please email trevelyan.collsec@durham.ac.uk so the payment can be refunded.
