Christmas Formal

2 Course Formal Dinner

Important - Please note that St. Cuthbert's Society are hosting two (2) Christmas Formals this year; held on the 8th and 10th December 206. Please check that you are booking for the event you want to attend.

You may only book for one of these Christmas Formals, any second bookings will be cancelled.

Date: Thursday 10th December 2026

Time: 6:30pm arrival for a 7pm serving. Please arrive no later than 6:45pm. Bailey Bar will be open from 6:30pm for you to purchase Drinks.

Location: Dining Hall, 12 South Bailey

Dress Code: Lounge Suite or Traditional Cultural Dress, A lounge suite is more casual than black tie and could be a suit, dress, jumpsuit, or anything else formal but not black tie. You are welcome to wear a gown, but this is not required. A festive twist is welcome for this specific event.

[Meat] Carved turkey breast with Château potatoes, thyme-roasted carrots, parsnips, Brussels sprouts, pigs in blankets, stuffing balls and red wine sauce

[Vegetarian] Slow-braised carrot and chestnut mushroom Wellington with Château potatoes, thyme-roasted carrots, parsnips, Brussels sprouts and red wine sauce (v)

Dessert

[Vegetarian] Christmas pudding cheesecake with orange and cinnamon granola and brandy cream, served with a sweet mince pie (v)
