Colleges and Common Rooms

South College hosts two seasonal balls in the summer and winter, which celebrate the South community, our achievements, and the beginning and end of the academic year. Our 2024 Winter Ball will be held at the Beamish Hall Country House Hotel on the 25th of November, with a Sapphire theme. Students can choose from dining or entertainment tickets, which can be purchased at a discounted rate with the JCR-Levy. Non-college guests are more than welcome to attend.

You can look forward to an evening of celebration complemented by a 3-course meal, stunning entertainment, fireworks, funfair rides, live music including student bands and DJs, and more.
