Love is in the air for our next formal of Epiphany term! Our South Valentines Day formal will be taking place on Friday 16th February and is a chance for you to celebrate those you appreciate in your life, whether that be friends, family members, a partner or yourself. This formal will be open to anyone, so I encourage you all to invite those you love to join in the celebrations at South, regardless of if they are a member of college or the university. Please wear your regular formal wear and gown. The meal will cost £13.99 for non-JCR members and £11.99 for JCR members. The menu is as follows:

Main course

Braised beef, beef shin bon-bon, cheddar and spring onion mash, roasted roots, crispy onions and bourbon sauce

OR

(Wild mushroom pithivier, sautéed kale, roasted celeriac and red wine sauce (vegan)

Dessert

Tarte au citron with torched meringue and raspberry crumble

Doors will open at 18:45 and close at 19:15 so please be prompt. We will ask for corkage of £1 for a bottle of wine or 2 bottles of anything with a low alcohol percentage (There is no charge/limit for soft drinks)
