8th March- Culture Splash

To conclude our formals for epiphany term, we have our culture splash formal which celebrates the end of Durham Global week and provides a chance to celebrate the amazingly diverse and inclusive community here at South. This formal will be open to anyone, so I encourage you all to invite people you know to join in with the celebrations at South, regardless of whether they are a member of South college.The meal will cost £15.83 for non-JCR members and £13.83 for JCR members. The menu is as follows;

Main course

Rump of lamb al asador with chimichurri, crushed sweet potatoes, roasted squash and stem broccoli

OR

Spinach and paneer curry with carrot, onion and spinach bhaji's

Dessert

Matcha green tea and white chocolate torte with pineapple salsa

(vegetarian)

Doors will open at 18:45 and close at 19:15 so please be prompt. We will ask for corkage of £1 for a bottle of wine or 2 bottles of anything with a low alcohol percentage (There is no charge/limit for soft drinks) .
