The South College Christmas Formal is one of our most popular, and we do anticipate max capacity for this event. We will have live music during the formal, and live music in The Nest following. Corkage fees have been waived for the 2024/25 academic year, meaning you can bring along one bottle of wine, or 2 bottles of low-percentage alcohol, to this formal dinner. The price of this formal is £17.49, although JCR members are eligible to recieve a discounted rate of £15.49. The following menu is avaliable for this dinner:

Starter

Winter Vegtable Soup with Truffled Gnocchi (v)

Main

Carved Turkey Breast with chateau potatoes, thyme-roasted carrots, parsnips, brussel sprouts, pigs in blankets, stuffing balls, & red wine sauce

or

Roasted Butternut Squash & Leek Wellington (v) with chateau potatoes, thyme roasted carrots, parsnips, brussel sprouts, & red wine sauce

Dessert

Christmas Pudding Cheesecake with orange & cinnamon granola and brandy cream (v)
