We have our first formal of Epiphany term on Friday 19th January. With Burn's night only a couple of days after, this formal will be a celebration of the life of poet Robert Burns as well as his contribution to Scottish culture. It would be great to see as many of you as possible after the break to kick start the new year! Please wear your regular formalwear and gown. The meal will cost £16.49 and the menu is as follows:

Starter

Scotch broth with herb dumplings

Main course

Chicken breast stuffed with haggis wrapped in smoked bacon, neeps & tatties, tender stem broccoli and a whiskey sauce

OR

Vegetarian haggis and wild mushroom Wellington, neeps & tatties, tender stem broccoli and a grain mustard sauce (vegetarian)

Dessert

Cranachan cheesecake with honey cream, toasted oats and raspberry coulis

Doors will open at 18:45 and close at 19:15 so please be prompt. We will ask for corkage of £1 for a bottle of wine or 2 bottles of anything with a low alcohol percentage (There is no charge/limit for soft drinks)
