This formal is for undergraduates and postgraduates, as well as livers’ in and livers’ out, and is also open to all students at Durham University.

Dress Code

With this being a Halloween-themed formal dinner, we kindly ask for your imagination to run wild (fancy dress/ formal lounge dress)

Menu

Starter - Piri piri winter squash and coconut soup with coriander crème fraiche and roasted chickpeas

Main - Breast of chicken with roasted shallot mash, truffled cabbage, tender stem broccoli and caramelised onion purée

OR

Main - Squash fondant with creamed spinach and pumpkin seed crumble, truffled cabbage, tender stem broccoli and caramelised onion purée (v)

Dessert - Sticky toffee pudding, salt caramel sauce and vanilla cream
