Join us for a night of festive cheer, good company, and seasonal singing at our Festive Formal at #therainbowcollege to start the season in style.

This formal is for undergraduates and postgraduates, as well as livers’ in and livers’ out, and is also open to all students at Durham University.

Dress Code

As this is a Christmas-themed formal dinner, we kindly ask that you dress to impress (formal black tie/ dress). We will provide the traditional Christmas Dinner Crown!

Menu

Starter – Winter Vegetable Soup, with truffled gnocchi (v)

Main (Meat) – Carved Turkey Breast, with chateau potatoes, thyme-roasted carrots, parsnips, Brussel sprouts, pigs in blankets, stuffing balls and red wine sauce.

Main (V) – Roasted butternut squash and leek Wellington, with chateau potatoes, thyme roasted carrots, parsnips, Brussel sprouts and red wine sauce.

Dessert – Christmas pudding cheesecake, orange and cinnamon granola and brandy cream (v) and a sweet mince pie (v)
