Join us in celebrating the festival of colours (Holi) at our festival of colours formal.Holi is a Hindu two-day festival in the spring that celebrates all things colourful and bright.Our formal will offer authentic Indian cuisine, live music, dancing, and lots of colour.

This formal is for undergraduates and postgraduates, as well as livers’ in and livers’ out, and is also open to all students at Durham University.

Dress Code

We kindly ask that you dress to impress. Formalwear (suit/ dress), traditional clothing, or whatever you feel comfortable in is welcome.

Main - Chicken Makhani Salli with steamed basmati rice and aloo gobi, Poppadums and naan bread with mango chutney, raita and lime pickle

Main - Spinach and paneer Makhani Salli with steamed basmati rice (v), Poppadums and naan bread with mango chutney, raita and lime pickle

Dessert -Cardamom and honey set lassi with cinnamon granola and caramelised mango (v)
