Join us for a night of festive cheer, good company, and seasonal singing at our Festive Formal!
Dress Code
As this is a Christmas-themed formal dinner, we kindly ask that you dress to impress. We will provide the traditional Christmas Dinner Crown!
Time and Location
The formal will take place in St Aidan's Dining Hall. Attendees should be seated by 7PM promptly, please arrive with enough time to be checked in and find your seats.
Menu
Starter: Winter vegetable soup with truffled gnocchi (v)
Main: Carved turkey breast with chateau potatoes, thyme-roasted carrots, parsnips, brussel sprouts, pigs in blankets, stuffing balls, and red wine sauce
OR
Slow-braised carrot and chestnut mushroom wellington with chateau potatoes, thyme-roasted carrots, parsnips, brussel sprouts, and red wine sauce (v)
Dessert: Christmas pudding cheesecake with orange and cinnamon granola and brandy cream, and a sweet mince pie (v)

Fresher's FREE Tickets
We understand that many students feel frustration and upset that Central were not able to provide us with a proper Welcome Formal this year. In light of this, College would like to offer each new UG1 student the chance to attend a formal of their choice free of charge. This offer will extend to any formals held across this academic year and can only be redeemed once per student. If you choose to use your free ticket for the Festive formal, please choose this option when signing up. Please note, this offer only applies to students of St Aidan's College.
