Join us for the inaugural Women of Grey Reunion & Networking Evening, bringing together alumni from across the generations to reconnect with Grey College, renew old friendships and make new connections.
Guests are welcome to arrive from 2.00pm to make the most of their visit to Grey. You may wish to join a University Open Day tour, explore the campus yourself, or simply enjoy an informal coffee and walk around the site with Steven Minto, Grey College's Alumni Engagement Coordinator. This part of the day is entirely optional, but we'd be grateful if you could let us know in advance if you intend to arrive early.
The evening programme begins at 4.00pm with a tea, coffee and cake reception. During the reception, we'll invite guests to Bring a Memory - perhaps a photograph, memento or story from your time at Grey. A display board will be available for anyone who would like to share photographs or other keepsakes - to help spark conversation throughout the afternoon.
From 5.00pmthe Principal, Professor Sonia Virdee, will be hosting an informal conversation on - What Does it Mean to be a Grey Alumna? and Looking Ahead: How Can We Strengthen the Women of Grey Community?
Our evening will recommence with a welcome prosecco reception and a hot fork buffet dinner. The Greyhound Bar will remain open afterwards, for those who wish to continue the evening.
Whether you left Grey recently or many years ago, we really hope you'll join us for what we intend to become a regular celebration of the Grey women's community - as well as reconnecting with one another and connecting to new people, we'll also be looking ahead to future Women of Grey events and opportunities to stay involved during 2027.

Supporter ticket:£50 includes an additional donation to the Grey College Trust
Places can be cancelled until bookings close at 9.00am on 8 September 2026. After this deadline, no cancellation or refund will be possible. To cancel a place before this time, please log-in to your Ecommerce account and cancel it, and then please email grey.college@durham.ac.uk so the payment can be refunded.
