Hild Bede SRC are delighted to invite all alumni and friends of the College of St Hild and St Bede to our 2025 Summer Ball on the evening of Thursday 12th June.
Tickets are priced at £120 which includes a full dining ticket, as well as some additional day times events. The ball ticket will provide you with access to a stunning venue - Wynyard Hall, a drinks reception, a delectable 3-course dinner, your carriage to and from the event, as well as a range of Durham's finest acts and entertainment. The additional events include an invitation to a meal with the Principal, Professor Simon Forrest, a presentation regarding the redevelopment of our old site, and a guided tour of the Rushford Court site.
You will be able to choose one of two menus, detailed below:
Meat Menu
- Starter - Crispy cod cheeks, chorizo jam, and herb salad
- Main - Slow braised beef feather blade, creamed potato, seasonal vegetables, and bourguignon sauce
- Dessert - Dark chocolate banoffee delice and honeycomb ice cream
Vegan / Allergen Menu:
- Starter - Spiced sweet potato and coconut velouté
- Main - Roasted cauliflower steak, Café de Paris butter, and garden herbs
- Dessert - Dark chocolate banoffee delice and honeycomb ice cream
