PLEASE NOTE - ONLY STUDENTS WHO HAVE PURCHASED AN SRC MEMBERSHIP WILL BE ABLE TO BUY A FRESHERS’ WRISTBAND.
The Freshers’ Wristband is the essential ticket to your entire Freshers’ Week experience at Hild Bede! Run entirely by the SRC, the events and activities are all run by our student Freshers’ Reps (known in Durham as Freps) – and (we think) it’s the best way to get to know your fellow students and jump headfirst into life in Durham! What you get for your money:

- Entry into some of Durham’s best nightclubs: Babylon, Loft, and Fowlers, exclusive to Durham students!
- Exclusive access to the Vernon Arms, our College Bar, from Sunday 28thSeptember to Saturday 4thOctober – open before the club nights, and until late for our parties, not to mention for the world-famous Vern Bar Quiz (every Thursday except during formals)!

N.B. Nightclubs in Durham will be very busy during Freshers’ Week, and there is no guarantee of gaining entry if you are not part of the college group. There are lots of scam ‘Freshers’ tickets’ about, and it’s best to stick with college as we have contacted venues on behalf of the whole cohort!
