What is the future of public accountability in the aftermath of crisis?

calendar 10:00 Monday, 12 December 2022 to 17:00 Tuesday, 13 December 2022
The International Centre for Public Accountability is holding a workshop on the future of public accountability in the aftermath of crises.

Recent years have seen a number of unprecedented crises which have faced different countries across the world, from global events, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, to crises which have affected individual countries, such as Brexit. The workshop will discuss how accounting both shapes and is reshaped by the aftermath of these and other crises.

The workshop will take place over two days, from the 12th to the 13th December 2022. The main event will be held at Durham Business School and sessions will start at 10 each morning, enabling participants to come in from either Durham or Newcastle. Any queries should be directed to Mariannunziata Liguori and/or Henry Midgley (co-directors of the Centre).
